Koch Brothers attacks beg question: Who is Schwartz Gyorgy aka George Soros?

What do you do when you’re in control of a country you are unable to govern effectively? Ahead of elections, you come up with any tactic to divert attention from your failures. For Democrats one tactic appears to be attacking the Koch Brothers who donate to Republican and libertarian causes.

Most who appreciate free speech accept that wealthy people donate to parties and candidates of their choice. However, since Democrats are focusing narrowly on one opposition donor, it’s time for Republicans to do some research on one of the Democrats’ biggest donors whose real name is supposed to be Schwartz György. We know him better as George Soros.

Soros is also known as the man who made $1 billion off England’s currency crisis in the 1990s, earning him the nickname, “The man who broke the Bank of England.”

Soros became a U.S. citizen in 1961, one year after he married. Soros’ biography, uniform across every website that posts such, says he came to New York after World War II. The world was in chaos at that time. Many official records in Europe had been destroyed by bombings.

The same Soros bio claims his family changed their name in Hungary before the war because of anti-Semitism, but Soros apparently didn’t experience death camps or forced labor during World War II:

“Soros took a job with the Jewish Council, which had been established during the Nazi occupation of Hungary. Soros later described this time to writer Michael Lewis:

The Jewish Council asked the little kids to hand out the deportation notices. I was told to go to the Jewish Council. And there I was given these small slips of paper … It said report to the rabbi seminary at 9 am … And I was given this list of names. I took this piece of paper to my father. He instantly recognized it. This was a list of Hungarian Jewish lawyers. He said, ‘You deliver the slips of paper and tell the people that if they report they will be deported.’”

For the current state of global politics, partly credit Soros who is one of the world’s richest men. Forbes reported:

“And Soros gets results. Through strategic donations, Soros helped bring down the communist government in Poland, toppled Serbia’s bloodstained strongman Slobodan Milosevic, and fueled the ‘Rose Revolution’ in Georgia. Soros has also funded opposition parties in Azerbaijan, Belarus, Croatia, Georgia, and Macedonia, helping them into either power or prominence. All of these countries were once Russian allies.”

Discover the Networks pointed out something that suggests the billionaire takes a dim view of America’s history:

“Both the ACLU and HRW have long promoted one of the central contentions of Soros’s Open Society Institute: the notion that America is institutionally an oppressive nation and a habitual violator of human rights both at home and abroad—indeed, the very antithesis of the type of ‘open society’ Soros reveres.”

Soros puts his money where his ideology is, though, generously funding all manner of leftwing groups, candidates, and causes. As Open Secrets disclosed, Soros’ dollars have greatly benefited 527 tax exempt organizations on the left:

“Individual donations to 527 organizations (2001 to 2010):

George Soros: $32.5 million

Koch Brothers: $1.5 million”

Open Secrets also showed Koch Brothers far down a list of “heavy hitters” who give to both political parties.

Democrats are currently doing their standard meme, with members of Congress and strategists repeating “Koch Brothers” like some sort of drug-induced mantra every time a mic is placed in front of them. Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), one of the most partisan Dems of all, was quizzed about this Koch obsession by Politico:

“The New York Democrat brushed off criticism from conservatives that Democrats are trying to suppress the free speech rights of Charles and David Koch with the repeated attacks, including some from Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid calling them ‘un-American.’”

There is a significant difference between Soros and the Koch Brothers. The Koch Brothers have a bio that can easily be verified and there is no doubt about their regard for the wellbeing of the U.S.

What the Republican Party should be asking is Who is Schwartz György/George Soros? We have only his word for who he is.

Every time a Democrat assails the Koch Brothers, Republicans should return the favor by shining a light on the enigmatic billionaire George Soros whose money has spread both philanthropy and misery around the globe via leftwing groups.
