Gangs, human traffickers, drug cartels must be celebrating border breach

How many criminals are coming across the U.S. southern border at present? Not one person who claims to be a journalist is talking about it.

What crimes will be committed by new recruits or expansions of gangs, human traffickers, and drug cartels as a result of the latest U.S. border breach? Nary a word will cross our president’s lips on that matter.

The FBI does provide a lot of data, much of it generated during the administration of President George W. Bush, about MS-13, Mara Salvatrucha.

As thousands of young people flood the U.S. southern border, Democrats dither and a few Republicans complain. No one is sealing the border as we did after 9-11, but that is the only measure that will stop the current inflow.

Both parties, with Democrats currently leading the effort, pander to racialist groups who lobby for open borders, and wittingly or unwittingly, lobby for increased gang recruitment, human trafficking, and drug cartel influence.

How many of these criminals receive indirect federal benefits, either straightforwardly or through fraud? No one knows.

The U.S. immigration bureaucracy is mired in corruption and ineptitude, partly a product of moving a politically sensitive agency into the domain of the massive Dept. of Homeland Security.

You will never hear a single congressman or President Obama mention MS-13, Mara Salvatrucha. The gang is made up of recruits who are “mostly Salvadoran nationals or first generation Salvadoran-Americans, but also Hondurans, Guatemalans, Mexicans, and other Central and South American immigrants.” That description is from the FBI website. These ethnic groups also make up the bulk of people coming into the U.S. on the southern border right now because our border remains unsecured despite the worldwide threat of terrorist acts against the West and the U.S. in particular.

Do you honestly believe that terrorist groups in other parts of the world aren’t aware of our border breach?

Search the FBI website for “MS-13 gang,” and you’ll get more than 3,000 results, many of them reports from field offices on crimes committed by the approximately 10,000 gang members operating in at least 42 states and the District of Columbia. The crimes these gang members commit are the stuff of slasher movies.

One horrendous crime happened in Central Islip, New York. The FBI field office reported (underscore added):

“[T]he government proved that the defendant Adalberto Ariel Guzman carried out the execution-style murders of Vanessa Argueta, a 19-year-old woman, and Diego Torres, her 2-year-old son, in Central Islip, New York, on February 5, 2010. The bodies of Argueta and Torres were found in a secluded wooded area in Central Islip. Argueta had been shot in the head and chest, and Torres had been shot twice in the head. The evidence introduced at trial established that Guzman fired the fatal shot to Torres’s head, and after committing the murders, he and two of his co-conspirators fled to El Salvador. Guzman was arrested on May 17, 2010, in Miami, Florida, when he attempted to return to the United States.”

What was the young mother’s crime? She showed “disrespect” to the gang. What kind of human being can fire two shots into a two year old baby’s head?

Females are a frequent target for such gangs. In Maryland, MS-13 made money from trafficking juvenile females for sex:

“[Jonathan Adonay] Fuentes assisted his fellow MS-13 gang members from the fall of 2009 through the spring of 2010 run a prostitution ring that specialized in selling juvenile girls for commercial sex. Fuentes admitted in court that he transported a teen girl within Virginia and Maryland to engage in sex with clients. The large majority of appointments took place at an MS-13-controlled apartment in Maryland; however, Fuentes also prostituted the young girl at various hotels throughout Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. Gang members supplied the victim with drugs and alcohol to keep her compliant.”

Were Torres and Fuentes, like countless others, beneficiaries of President Barack Obama’s ‘catch and release’ executive amnesty program? How many of these criminals fall into Obama’s “dreamers” category? No one is saying.

Most newspapers and TV networks refuse to publish the immigration status of such criminals. Media are eager pawns in a strategy to deceive Americans about crime deliberately imported into our country. Media are also racially insensitive—many of the crimes perpetrated by these gangs are against minorities.

FBI field offices reported criminal prosecutions for crimes in Houston, Atlanta, and countless other cities.

Obama seems, as usual, mired in indecision about the current crisis, other than to direct even more taxpayer money to assist these border crossers.

The National Association of former Border Patrol officers put Obama’s latest “crisis” in perspective in a press release (6-10-14):

“America is undergoing the most intensive campaign of Political Deception ever launched against Americans by her political leaders.”

America does need real immigration reform, and that need has existed ever since Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and his fellow politicos deceived a president and Americans in general with their reform bill, IRCA, 1986 (Immigration Reform and Control Act). Every time you hear Schumer pump “immigration reform,” remember he’s done it before and it wasn’t reform, not by a long shot.

These politicos lied to us. They promised the 1986 IRCA was the fix—the border would be secured.

Real immigration reform would require sealing the border until the inflow stops and cleaning house in the corrupt bureaucracy currently mired in the immigration muddle.

Federal law is not being upheld by the executive office; nor is the oath the president took. In times past, that actually meant something to Americans. In times current, when presidents are viewed as rock stars and admired because they make pretty speeches or touch a chord with the base, right or left, those oaths and laws have meant nothing. At present, they mean less than nothing.

How many Americans will be victims of crime as a result of expanded gang membership or expansions in other criminal enterprises? We will never know. Media and the people you elect will either not tell you, or will lie outright about it.

We might get answers if someone in the government decided to follow the money, because in the end, the border invasion is about money and nothing else.

The U.S. currently is experiencing a monstrous national security breach, a foreign policy meltdown with Central American countries, and a criminal justice quagmire that will cost taxpayers decades into the future.

As for your personal safety, that is bottom of the priority list for the Beltway insiders. Their children will not attend public schools strapped by increased costs, and the wealthy can afford to hire bodyguards. Tucked away inside their enclaves, the Chuck Schumers of the world are insulated from the vulnerability the average American will face, especially those in low income neighborhoods.

Criminal gangs, drug cartels, and human traffickers have cause to celebrate. We are not only welcoming many of their recruits, we are subsidizing their recruitment efforts with U.S. taxpayer money.

What a coup, in every sense of the word.
