Yes, the donkey drives media from Facebook to national news outlets

I’ve long said national media is beholding to one political party, and that isn’t likely to change soon.

For Democrats, national media of all types function as a de facto arm of the party. That, in my opinion, is the only way President Barack Obama has a plus in his approval column.

Recently contractors for Facebook admitted the site is biased against news and commentary that contradict the narrative Democrats peddle. One former contractor even said news curators picking sources avoided conservative sites:

“It was absolutely bias. We were doing it subjectively. It just depends on who the curator is and what time of day it is,” said the former curator. “Every once in awhile a Red State or conservative news source would have a story. But we would have to go and find the same story from a more neutral outlet that wasn’t as biased.”

The Facebook controversy surfaced via a site no one would categorize as conservative.

Amid this revelation, President Barack Obama’s deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes ridiculed media who cover the White House. Rhodes gave readers the idea national media are pretty much puppets for Democrats. The New York Times, said Politico, “portrayed Rhodes as a real-life Holden Caulfield, a prep-school brat with literary pretensions whose greatest work of fiction was crafting the White House’s ‘narrative’ to defend the Iran nuclear deal from its critics.”

If you want to know why US foreign policy is so screwed up, look no further than Mr. Rhodes whose educational and real world background includes nothing of note that qualifies him as a national security adviser even if his role is communications.

Newsbusters has noted presidents of two major media networks have family ties to the White House.

Dem-friendly The Wire said at least 24 ‘journalists’ have gone to work for Obama.

From the days of Obama’s first presidential run, media have buried news that might have been negative. I recall a complete blackout on Obama’s more than $2 million earmark to a defrocked priest’s organization. The priest’s name was listed on ‘Archdiocesan Priests with Substantiated Allegations of Sexual Misconduct with Minors.’ The priest’s organization potentially would cause him to be in contact with children.

Media continue to run interference for Dems’ leading presidential candidate whose family connections have controlled the US off and on since the 1990s. The last eight years haven’t been the Obama administration; they’ve been the Clintonites administration.

If you get news from major national outlets on TV or online, bear in mind the donkey drives media in the US. By the time a comic used the N-word to address President Obama directly, few complained. Media did cover the moment that likely gave a terrible impression to the rest of the world, but dropped the matter quickly.

From global warming falsely presented as climate change to the radical no-limits-abortion stance  Democrats take, the donkey drives the media.
