As establishment media troll Trump, outrage ensues amid amnesia

Is there any doubt establishment media is trolling US president Donald Trump? Not in my mind. As numerous actors in media and government debate Trump’s retaliatory insult towards Mika Brzezinski, a personality with MSNBC News, amnesia strikes again.

I’ll say up front I wish our president screened his Tweets more carefully.

I can’t tell you the times I’ve changed wording on a response on social media in an effort to communicate. I think it’s fine that Trump uses social media to communicate; former president Barack Obama did the same. But it’s obvious the president is being trolled to elicit exactly the response Brzezinski’s insult drew. It would be a great idea for the president to wait ten minutes before hitting ‘send’ if a Tweet is controversial.

It’s no secret MSNBC engages in daily Trump bashing. It appears that network is attempting to position itself as the authority on leftist ideology, just as Fox is the go-to for many conservatives.

What’s interesting to me relates to the 8-year long pass the previous regime received from most media, and how that same media expect Americans to respect them now. Never mind the fact most media, in my opinion,  are openly colluding with leftists to remove a legitimately elected president.

I see a number of posts expressing outrage on social media about the fact Ms. Brzezinski is a woman and Trump insulted her about her looks. So? I have a whole folder of insults about my age and looks, all directed by leftists. I even thought about writing a book about Internet trolling because of my own experience.

You may be thinking that it’s fine for the media class to insult the president but not for the president to do the same. What we should be focusing on, however, doesn’t involve words, but deeds.

Where was the outrage when people died under the previous regime?

President Barack Obama droned a US citizen suspected of involvement in terrorist propaganda. No charges had been filed against this man. Then this man’s teenage son, also a US citizen, was killed by a drone. Not because the teen son was involved in terrorism. He happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time in Yemen. Any American who believes executing a citizen of this country without due process forgets to envision consequences down the road. This is one reason I groaned when I heard Obama and his associates bemoan waterboarding. After all, people lived to talk about waterboarding. You don’t come back from a drone attack.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), one of the few left in Washington who pays any attention to limits on government in the US Constitution, called Obama’s regime out about those deaths. Paul also brought up Obama’s press secretary’s response to a media personality asking questions about the teen’s death:

“I would suggest that you should have a far more responsible father if they are truly concerned about the well being of their children. I don’t think becoming an al-Qaida jihadist terrorist is the best way to go about doing your business.”

If you read this Politi-Fact ‘fact check’, it’s obvious the writer is attempting to play down what the press sec said. This is one of myriad examples of the power Democrats and the left hold over corporate media largely run by big public corporations. It’s comical that PF attempts to distance Obama’s official spokesperson from Obama.

Why didn’t we see 24/7 coverage on both Gibbs’ remarks and the death of the teen? As PF indicates, it took two years for us to even learn about it.

More deaths occurred as a result of an insane federal gun-running program. Obama clamped the lid down on Fast and Furious once the public learned about it. How did we learn about it? Customs and Border Protection officer Brian Terry was killed by one of the weapons. As of May, 2016, according to Judicial Watch, at least 69 deaths can be attributed to those weapons.

By the time Hillary Clinton, presidential designee for Democrats in 2016, called millions of Americans “deplorables,” many of us were so de-sensitized by  Dems’ powerhouse messaging arm we didn’t even blink.

No one had to troll Hillary for her insult. She simply expressed her true thoughts about more than 60 million Americans.

As media sit on comfy chairs on their tony stage sets and muse about President Trump, “dignity”, and whatever else the natter class can come up with to fill round the clock content, actors in that profession are completely missing the boat on why the US has lost trust in virtually every media outlet.

It’s not even so much how they’re covering Trump. It’s the pass they gave to the Democrats for those 8 long years as we watched wages decline, our trade deficit and our debt deepen, our porous border get thrown open to the world, our then-attorney general call us a “nation of cowards”, Christians maligned for their faith, our wallets strained because of tax and regulatory fee hikes, our position in the world most definitely weakened, and our Treasury thoroughly looted. That is a short list.

Trump should take into consideration he’s being trolled in the massive platform created by leftist media just as many of us are trolled on individual social media. I hope he won’t continue to feed those trolls like Ms. Brzezinski who says she’s worried about our country. Apparently she has amnesia regarding the last 8 years.

Ms. Brzezinski, by the way, has politics in her DNA. Her family history is replete with government actors. Her brother was an ambassador for the Obama regime. Too bad her network doesn’t provide a transparent bio for their actors.

As for her co-host, Joe Scarborough, his past is best left quiet.
